Analysis of Waste Minimization Challenges to European Food Production Enterprises

Economic growth increases the pressure on environmental issues, thus highlighting importance of waste minimization processes. The management approaches in most European countries have so far been relatively little studied and compared at micro level. main objective current research is to analyze challenges food industry enterprises identify good practices selected countries. used a mixed-method methodology, combining both qualitative quantitative methods, providing an in-depth insight into enterprises’ efforts reduce their production use resources more efficiently. data collection methods for study were secondary research, discourse analysis, case studies, focus group interviews. analysis applications countries’ sub-sectors leads conclusion that since national initiatives success factors vary between countries, it important invent such systems are economically justified technically available all regardless volumes.
